At LifeThread Herbal Formulas, LLC, all our tinctures are prepared using only certified Organically Grown & ethically wild crafted plants. Each herb is extracted according to its distinct characteristics and medicinal properties in pure certified organically grown grain alcohol, apple cider vinegar, glycerin, and distilled water. Working with nature's cycles, we only utilize plants harvested during the season appropriate for the plant part used (i.e.: leaves-spring; flowers-summer; roots-fall & winter). To assure high potency remedies, we use fresh herbs whenever appropriate and let them soak for a minimum of eight weeks.
LifeThread’s tinctures are easily assimilated, convenient and can extract a wider range of medicinal properties than dried herbs and capsules. They have a shelf life of many years, and are best stored in a cool, dark place.
Since these remedies are strong tasting, the best way to take them is in a small amount of water and drink them down. Though not essential, you will get the most out of the tincture if taken on an empty stomach. For children, you can mix it in a little fruit juice.
